Brief

Design, manufacture and install all the joinery in 53 high-end apartments in Melrose Arch.  This included the kitchens, built in cupboards in the bedroom and bathroom vantities.  

 

Provide a customised design service for the joinery requirements in 4 of the penthouses directly with the home owners.

 

All joinery to be compliant with the requirements to meet a four star Greenstar rating with the Green Building Council of SA.

 

Key features

• Imported German kitchens with light-boxes, Caesarstone worktops and glass splashbacks

• Local sprayed bedroom cupboards and white high gloss vanities with Caesarstone tops

• There were 17 different configurations in the apartments that ranged from studios to 3 bedroom units

• Water based spraywork and low emission silicones and sealants were used throughout

• LED lightboxes in kitchen
